Godox Virso S M2 Overview

Capture audio from Sony cameras, smartphones, or other recording devices all day using the Virso S M2 2-Person Wireless Microphone System from Godox. The system includes two clip-on transmitters with built-in omnidirectional microphones and a dual-channel receiver with a Multi Interface shoe and its own built-in microphone. Functions like a -6 dB safety track and a microSD card slot on the transmitter unit for backup recording offer safeguards for unforeseen audio clip/environmental disturbances. The system also includes two omnidirectional lavaliere microphones, furry windscreens, 3-in-1 USB cable, 3.5mm TRS cable, 3.5mm TRS to TRRS cable, shoe cover, and a storage pouch to take it on the go.
Wide Device Compatibility
• A Multi Interface shoe on the receiver delivers audio without the need for cabling to compatible Sony cameras by sliding into their hot shoe slot.
• The 3.5mm TRS output on the receiver unit can be used with the included cables to record audio to other DSLR/mirrorless cameras, compatible smartphones, or other audio recorders.
• Clip-On Transmitters with Onboard Recording
• Integrated omnidirectional microphones and 3.5mm TRS inputs for the included lavaliere microphones can capture crisp audio in your next 2-person interview. Dual-Channel Receiver with Built-In Microphone
• The dual-channel receiver features an integrated microphone to capture audio from your interviewer behind the camera. It is capable of recording both mono and stereo audio channels. Onboard controls and an integrated display allow you to view parameters like your transmitter’s power status and signal strength as well as toggle denoise, mute, or the -6 dB safety track recording. The screen rotates for maximum visibility, no matter the mounting position.
Long Transmission Distance
• The system’s 2.4 GHz frequency-hopping technology extends communication between units up to 200m, making it ideal for outdoor applications or larger studio spaces.
